"Cant get the ball up"

I have the nike pro combo style irons and i cant seem to get the ball in the air. It makes me so mad when i hit a beautifil drive and then i cant get my 7 iron to go 30 yards. This happens a lot. Any ideas on what is causing it.

Something sounds very odd, I mean you should in theory just with swing speed alone be able to hit a rubber headed iron 30 yards. If you would like call me and we can talk about this further. I would have to ask some questions. I do not think I can give you the answer by just knowing you are hitting it only 30 yards.

Try new shafts...possibly graphite. Aldila "One" iron shafts are soon to come out...they come in three kinds of "launch" - low, medium, and high. I'd consider the High Launch...go regular flex for distance, stiff flex for accuracy.

When you say you can't get the ball up in the air,do you mean your topping the ball,or hitting it fat or what.By letting us know will go a long way in solving your problem, forget about shafts until we know what's going on with your swing. ctjoe.
